I have a 3071R left over from my old '99. I'm not exactly what happened to it to f it up so bad, but my best guess is oil starvation - it looked like there was some sludge in the supply line when I removed it.

The pictures below show more detail. The rotating assembly doesn't do any rotating anymore - it is locked in position. The turbine wheel has contacted the housing and bent the fins.

So, is this thing worth anything to anyone? It looks like Garrett still does a CHRA exchange program - perhaps it is worth something as a core for that?
