Necropost here, but wanted to add a warning in case anyone else searches for this:
This part number is for a cable that has the same amount of slack as an NA 1.6 cable (~ 8 inches, vs 5-5/8 for a 1.8). So if you go this route, you'll have to either shorten the cable or fab up a new bracket to move the adjuster about 3 inches back.
