Hehe, I couldn't help myself -- I grabbed a couple gallons. That brings me up to I think 7 or 8 jugs of T6 plus a couple cartons of Mobil 1 Extended Life.

But the linked rebate is through Shell, not Advance Auto so you can still bring the price down to the aforementioned 8.99. Not a bad price.

Ahh I see, cool. $14 is not a bad price (I just bought 3), $9 is insane. But I HATE rebates.

Agreed, The ones I hate the most are when the small print lets you know that the rebate comes in the form of a credit towards your next purchase at Jill's House of Yarn or some such crap.

Well since I had the rebate page open (thanks mgeoffriau for the link in the OP), I filled out the info and on the second page it gives you the option to upload a copy of your receipt. I still had the advanceauto receipt page open, so I printed it as a .pdf and uploaded the .pdf. Done. Lets see if I get $10, $5 (have to do it twice?), or nothing eventually. .

I seem to recall someone in the slickdeals thread saying that they did that and it was declined -- presumably because Advance doesn't actually charge you until you pick up your order. I believe he resubmitted his rebate application with the final pickup receipt from Advance and was approved.

Limit 2 rebates per person, household or address (e-mail and physical)
I think I'm going to make two separate purchases so I can do two separate rebate submissions.
