Default Runs rich then stalls

My 01 with 160k on it, 20k boosted. When I hold the clutch to the floor, either in gear or not, it runs real rich (in the 10s) then stalls. Runs great otherwise. Could this be signs of a worn thrust bearing? If so should I just drive it until it breaks or is it rebuildable?

If you are running a MAP sensor hose to under your dash, is it possible that your clutch pedal is pinching the hose?
This happened to me once when I was under there messing with something and forgot to tie it back up.

Sonofthehill, you were absolutely correct. Thanks. I've never been able to get the locknut tightened on the clutch adjustment. As a result the release was getting lower and lower, because I've been too lazy to adjust it. Add to that the bottom stopper has disintegrated allowed the pedal to push all the way into the floorboard. It almost has the hose cut and my wideband wires were getting pinched too.

Now my slush fund to build a new engine can stay. I had hoped that this motor would last awhile. It has real good compression and I'm keeping the boost under 12psi.

Glad you solved it, at least you had figured out that it was the clutch pedal. I think I took a week or two fussing with mine before I realized that it was the pedal. Once I realized, I knew what is was immediately because I had been under there not long before.

12psi, change the oil regularly and it will probably last for years.
