Default RX7 Diff Install Questions

I've got this week off from work and want to get this rx7 diff installed and the delrin mounts on. I've got a few questions though, and will likely post more once I get started.

1) How in the hell do I get that damned spacer/slug out of the PPF/diff on the lower rear mounting position? I've tried about 15 times to pry the ****** out and it won't budge. Is there a trick to this?

2) Is there a simple way to remove the carrier bearings? They are pressed on fairly tight and I can't lever them up. Bearing puller won't work since there is too large a hole in the middle.

1. Yeah, its really tough if you haven't done it, I sprayed it with penetrating lube, and used a pry bar. It was really hard, used vice grips to try to spin it around and loosen it up.

2. For this, I just bought new bearings for it and took it to a machine shop to have the old bearings removed and new ones pressed on, cost me $30, well worth it in my book.

I run Royal Purple in mine, but you can use whatever. Just make sure you do not use an LSD additive.
