I was just happening to scroll through reddit to find this screenshot of the news posted on the main page of the website.




I know it's not miata specific per se, but it is car enthusiast's forum specific. It looks like some degenerate gained access to the database. I had only been to that forum a handful of times, but I can only imagine how bummed I would be if this happened to our community over here. I don't doubt that with zilvia.net gone, a treasure trove of information and writes ups are gone forever with it. It's such a sad thing to see for the S chassis community.

I'd be lying if i said this didnt cause at least a small amount of worry in me for the future of what we have over here at miataturbo. I'm sure some of you guys already do this, but I'm going to start saving useful threads and write ups i come across externally incase something similar were ever to happen here.

 

Man that sucks. I owned S13s in the past and used to frequent Zilvia.

It's sad to see good forums die. They are a MUCH better way to pass on info than any "modern" social media crap. Glad that MT is still very much around and hope that this day will not come soon.
