SE Hitting Boost Cut
Hi guys,
Question from a newbie from downunder.
My SE (Mazdaspeed) is hitting the boost cut / fuel cut in Third Gear about 5500-6000rpm. And about 5000 in 4th.
It drives through it to continue up to the rev limiter, but is very annoying.
Any suggestions please?
Car is standard SE Factory Turbo 2004.
Full 2.5" exhaust, High Flow Cat, AEM CAI Short Ram Intake. Aftermarket Turbo Smart Recirc BOV. That is all Modds.
(soon to add Olderguy's O2 mod to reduce flat spot/hesitation)
Do not have boost gauge or controller.

I'd suggest going and getting a cheap boost gauge, or borrowing one first. This will tell us if you're spiking past 11.5psi. If you're not, then you are having other issues.
I know I am hitting boost cut, because it is like someone has grabbed you by the back of the neck and momentarily stopped acceleration.
I assume I am reaching the OEM boost limit.
