It is, but I lack the patience for such things. My gay light strips on the roll bar was much easier and I'm sure cheaper.

You guys have to have the worst drivers in America over in GA/ATL area. Any time I take a trip to that side of town, or see a GA driver over here, they are doing 90, tailgating people and cutting in and out of big trucks.

Or it's a mom in an Excursion talking on the phone, sipping coffee, reading her book, putting on make-up, and telling her 1.3 kids to stop yelling. And that's right before she plows into the back of a stopped car and claims she had "no idea how that happened".

The funny thing is, the first post after the OP had the exact same idea.
When was the last time you randomely walked out to your car and decided you were going to spend 400 hours creating a new rear tail light assembly because your brake lights just didn't quite look right?
I did the same thing, but I caculated it at 12vdc. Burnt out a bunch. I then used 15VDC in my calculation, it was a little dimmer, but no burnt out LEDs. When I do it again, I'm thinking about using a voltage regulator to get a constant output.
