So my 2nd hand autometer pro shift light came... bought a variable potentiometer from radioshack... gonna try to find the glue gun and set it all up tonight.

Or you can just look at your tach and shift correctly. I have shift lights on my shifter kart because I can't read the tach at speed (too much vibration + digital tach with a bar scale that doesn't refresh fast enough). I don't have them on my Miata because I'm not a ricer poseur retard.

Sav,in the heat of the moment during a street race,the last thing you want to do is take your eyes off the road to look at your tach to see what rpm your at,even for a split second.
