Default should i get another parts car?

I went down the road to a junkyard thats about 10 miles from my house, kinda small but i get lucky everynow and then. went down for a gm intake air temp sensor and i look to my right and see a 1st gen 1.8 miatr. so i forget what i am doing and head right for it and drop the hood of the cavi on my foot and fell over. (a.d.d. like a ****) looks like it was hit really hard in the drivers fender and bent back to the frame rail. the hood was off and the windsheild is smashed and a biig dent in the drivers running board. the engine is perfect not a scratch and the interior is perfect also. the soft top is good but the back plastic window is cracked. it has a factory spoiler and all body panels from the doors back are mint. the front wheels are busted though. i asked the guy how much to take it off his hands and he said he would do $700. should i do it?

personally i can use the driveshaft and axles and diff housing for a rx7 swap and maybe ill get lucky and itll be a torsen already so i can use that stuff. i can use the tranny too and the spoiler as i am not done painting my car yet. i could sell the seats and engine for probly the amount ill pay for the car together since the car has 92k miles on it. should i go for it? i think itll save me alot of hunting and save me alot of money and itll make me some money too. i think its a good idea, anyone else give me an opinion thx alot. might pick it up next weekend.

if it's a torsen, go for it, and part the rest out! engine, tranny, seats, brakes, etc, and you'll have all your money back

****, if its not a torsen- and you have the money....

Id say go for it, you can easily make your money back out of it, sell the engine, trans, other good panels, seat, intereior bits, brakes...

This is all if you are mechanically inclined and have the time to strip her down =P.

Gl!

You can never have too much car stuff. I say if you have the yard space, get it.

i am not concered one bit about getting my money back. i think i will make a good 400 out of it if i spend enough time selling stuff. awsome. i think ill go down there tommarow and put down a deposit on it and cover it and when i can find a way to tow it ill pay the rest. ill go down to it every night and have a camp fire and tell it some stories. :gay: i wonder if i could talk him down $50

Bring him 550 cash and tell him you will take it right now.

well not actually take it as in tow it, but you will give him cash-in-hand.
