Default Who Has "TSI's"

My car is a 1992 and It has a broken parking light. Funny thing is that my Dad told me his light on his 91 BRG also broke. I said drivers side? Yup! So we both have broken drivers side parking lights

Should I go with TSI's or just get a used lenses? I like the TSI's on dark cars but I dont know if it will look good on the Yella with the type II nose?

I guess I just want to know if the TSI work and or are worth it?

Get a used lens. TSI's have been shown to not work or somehow air is drawn Out of them instead of in. Naca headlight ducts however are functional.

Someone actually did some testing? Do you have a source for this? I would assume some type of wind tunnel was used ...

That is the thread on here where this was discussed but i thought i went through a thread were someone did tests and found the TSI's created a highpressure area behind the radiator and that affected cooling negatively.
Either way, if i had an NA i would go Naca duct.

What about the chrome clear ones on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-97...QQcmdZViewItem

You can get them cheap, But are they TOO RICEY?
I would like to get a pair of whatever so they match. I hate it when people have a car with MILES on it and replace a broken or worn Headlight with a brand new one. Why not just do them both.

I say it's to rice just because nowadays ever POS on the highway has housings with a clear lens, silver back and red reflector . I like the stock lenses and if you call partsgroup.com or mazmart in atlanta i bet they could hook you up. I'm not affiliated but I have done business with both. Shipping is always fast.

I'm not sure how effective they are but I do love my TSI's. And they look great on my 94M. Maybe you could paint or powder coat them a dark color to contrast the yellow paint?

I just bought some tsi's from miatamania and I'm very pleased. I have a 92 black miata, and I just slapped them in, no painting no nothing. There is a slight difference in color, but my front bumper is faded anyways so it kinda blends in. As for functionality, my engine bay used to get hot as hell, but its a lot better now. I'm not sure about the tests others ran, but after running it on the freeway for about 30 min hard, it felt a lot better than it used to. But as Braineack said before, anything (tsi or naca) is better than nothing.
