Verdict??

I've definitely fixed mine. Thinking back, I believe that unplugging, cleaning and replugging all the connectors into the main fuse box was what really fixed it. I used to have a condition where it would take a few tries on the key to get the starter to turn, and that's gone too. Just general crud/age in that area was causing enough voltage drop to mess with the relays. Simple things . . . .

I'm pretty confident the loose spark ground wire was the issue. I've put about 20 miles on it so far without a single issue.
