Have a 2001 1.8 sport. Have done some mods to the car, the bigges tone is that I have removed the original ecu and replaced with an Autronic SM4. Trying to start the engine but the starter will not turn. the starter is getting power but the trigger does not get any signal.

Afraid it has something to do with the immobilizer utit. Is there any easy way to bypass it?
