steering rack?

Default steering rack?

will a steering rack from a 90 work on a 96 and vise virsa?

im suposed to be getting his depowerd, and he is getting my power sutup!

i just didnt know if there was a difference between 1.6 NA and 1.8 NA!

Unless I have missed something, the racks should be the same from 90-97. The cooler line stops at the end of 1995, but the rack remains the same.

no, i went to de powered! the other guy got my powered setup!


one more question, how much fluid do i keep in the rack? i know your supposed to keep some in there for lubrication, just how much.

No, what I'm saying is the depowered POWER rack has a quicker ratio, so most people prefer that as opposed to the slower manual rack.

So if you want a unpowered rack, it's usually better just to keep the powered one and modify it.

thats what pretty much happend! i modified mine, and he got my p/s!

ha, will do as soon as i get my car back on the road! gotta replace my turbo! i should be back up and running within a month!

Umm... Yeah, that's not real depowering. It's going to feel like *** compared to an actual depower.

Good luck getting the car back on the road! What are you replacing your turbo with! That month is totally going to feel like a year! Follow the depower instructions! Much better than just looping lines! Indeed, don't screw anything up!
