Default stock o2 sensor

where does the stock o2 sensor plug into? it looks like it is behind the engine, its something that has been bugging me, is there a wiring harness back there? anyone want to fill me in (I havent removed the miata's engine before)

it snaps into a plug at the back side of the cam cover. i'll take a pic if you need it.

it plugs into the fuel injector harness/ or the ignition harness...not sure which it is. The plug is behind the coil pack and is a 1 wire on the 1.6L and a 4 wire on the 1.8's.
