Switching from short to long nose. Need help
Just recently got a whole long nose swap from gospeed81 (who is btw the most awesome seller i have ever dealt with) and i am a bit confused about how all the new stuff goes together.
Here are a few pictures of how i think it should all go together.
So first the timing belt gear goes on the snout
Then the other thing that i am not sure what it does goes on.
And the the pulley/ balancer
And then the bolt key and the bolt?
To me it looks like something is missing. There is a ton of space left it almost looks like the nose is too short or something.

Sorry to leave ya hanging on this...nothing but chores since we got back into town, and had to watch soccer match.
I reviewed some pics I had, as well as the motor I'm rebuilding on the stand and this looks correct. The bolt should fit flat on the spacer. I can disassemble this one as well if no one else chimes in before when I can get greasy in the morning.

Something is not right there. I just did this the other day and I dont remember having all that space. **** I wish I remembered better how it all went together.
So you got:
-the long nose crank
-the long nose oil pump
-the long nose timing gear
-the long nose pulley boss
-the long nose pulley
Right?

It looks like that space is there to clear the keystock:

You guys are awesome! Thanks so much for the diagram. I am going to order a new oilpump anyway. I think the space there is just because its like that. At least i have everything in the diagram aside from the key, which i am going to order anyway new.
Thanks.
P.S. Where do i get a book with all the diagrams? or even better a whole PDF of it?
Thanks.

I was pretty sure the key made it into one of the baggies, but new keystock is a good idea anyways.
Let me know if you do need anything else. I had taken a cursory look around in the garage the other day, but if it turns out you are missing anything (or need anything else to save from spending) then let me know, I've got another shortblock in the corner.
