Ever wonder about those two extra holes in the exhaust manifold gasket for the early Miata 1.6 L engines?
I am changing engines on my Festiva Ice Racer, and had to buy two more studs for the exhaust manifold to bolt up right.

I thought I'd share a pic of what the 323 GT and Ford Capri FWD turbo manifold looked like.
The IHI turbo was not a very big one. This one is a VJ11/14 hybrid.
The red circles show what those extra holes were used for.
