Time for new tires, which ones?

I'm sure that some smart guy out there can tell you for sure, but I'm not that guy. At some point, somebody must have put a spreadsheet somewhere that tells what the max and min tire sizes that can go on a particular rim width. You can probably mount a wider tire on that rim, but I don't know when it would be too wide for the rim or for your particular vehicle. I'm actually hoping that smart guy will stop by this thread and tell me exactly what size tire will fit my needs best and then proceed to explain why.

not exactly what you are looking for but follow the link to the wheel and tire comparitor. I don't know that I would go wider than 205 on a 6.5" rim. It may fit but you will be sacrificing performance and driving feel since the sidewall can't perform as designed.
