Would a 225 tire fit on the rear of a '92, with 16x7 +48 offset wheels?

ya with that offset you probably wont even have to roll the fender.

Depends on the aspect ratio. 225/45-16 is gonna be a tight fit with such a high offset. You might have issues on the inner fender.

Depends on your ride height. If you arent too low you wont have any issues.
If you are low a possible roll and removing the fender liner should do it.
ya know what, not even a roll with that offest.
Maybe just the fender liner..
