How can I tell a torsen rear? Its out of the car.

Try 1-800-222-5500.
Also, you can remove the drain and fill plug and look inside. As you turn the driveshaft and axles you should be able to make out the parts. Compare what you see to the pics of the internals here:

what option package did the car have? does it have power windows, power antenna, power mirrors, power steering, leather?

that number posted is correct. if you get someone that tells you they can't, call back.

 

Look through the diff. If you see a bar its an open.
If no bar and straight through its a Torsen.

Jack up both of the rear wheels off the ground. Then turn one wheel and if the other one turns in the same direction.

 

Do a burn out :P
