HI guys,

Over heating issue while stopped while in traffic. What could I do? Dual fan mod completed.

- Change to an Spal on the A/C side fan or Main fan? If I only want to change one side.

- What size of the SPAL fan would fit on the A/C side or Main fan?

try changing to 70/30 mix and water wetter kept my coolant about 10 degrees cooler

 

I might consider a fan upgrade seeing as your intercooler is probably blocking airflow to the radiator. Also, the hot air off the IC might be a part of the problem too.

 

Coolant reroute will be done next wk... if that won't help. Spal fan will be ordered.

What size would fit base on the A/C side? 10 or 12 inch?

 

is the shroud sealed up?

 

are the fans even working?

Everythign works. When the A/c is on, for the beginning the temp will drop couple of degs. But after a while sitting in hot traffic, the temp gauge climbs from 82c to 92c gradually.

 

change the mix, reinstall the undertray if it's missing, install a cooling plate up top.

that dont work, then try a bigger rad or better fans.

 

you've probably checked this too....but are they going the right way when they do turn on?
