Yeah.... get some WIDER wheels to go with the flares... those narrow little things make it look like a mexi-ride-lowrider. And ditch the grapefruit shooter. The black and flared parts look good..... but its leaving much to be desired.

roadster363- beautiful car man. What wing is that? I like it!

thanks sir. it's a bomex type II wing...looked weird when i didn't have the flares on...but blends well with the wide stance of the car now...some sense of balance i suppose

however, i'm sad to say i'm going to have to give them up soon on account of them being real heavy. it's a real **** to have on especially on the autocross circuits...

i'll probably hunt for something else...any suggestions?

I was VERY close to getting a set for mine, but after much debate I changed my mind. I had the racing lifestyle flares but never put them on and ended up selling them. You have to make some sacrifices for flares.....

Rev9autosport sells them.

Why you change your mind? Ever since I saw Chris Lees miata with them, I've loved em. After I get my rollbar and 6 UL's I may look at buyin some of these so I can run some obnoxious rubber...

Same car that got me on the flare kick.

I ordered a set of the racing lifestyle ones first and was gonna have them put on, but once the flares where mocked up on the car I didn't like it. Makes too big of a gap that you can now only fill with deepdish low offset wheels. Plus there was some cutting of the fenders that was going to be involved IIRC. I knew the tuckin99 ones where more expensive and larger, so I choose to go flareless.

Looks kind of odd with those skinny little tires.
