The tilted plate pulls the whole look together IMO.

It IS FUGLY... but I saw some of the in process pictures and the guy was really doing some decent sheet metal work. That isn't a big heap of bondo suprisingly.

Hooray for the metal work.... UGH at the final product.

To the OP... goto the track and find out. Then report back. E-racing is lame bullshit.

I wouldn't mind having a stock Honda for a daily, but modding any fwd car is just a losing battle.

You didn't even mention what kind of boost you plan to run for this little duel. Or your whp if you know it. Or what engine he has, etc.....

He mentions it's a hatchback made after '01, so it's likely an '02-'05 Si, so there are only two engines it could have really. Either one of them (K20A3 or K20A2 swapped) would be making a good bit of power at 14 psi, especially when you consider that most Honda guys use larger turbos than we do, generally speaking.

All the E-racing in the world doesn't mean anything though. Just go find out.

Sigh, all you honda haters. Which means you never had one or built a nice one.

I have... and did... and probably will someday if they stop being the theft targets they have become.

A car is a car... get over your gay convertible driving selves...

You're right. I have never owned a honda automobile, and NEVER will own a honda automobile. I do own a honda powered lawn mower cause I got tired of rebuilding the brings and crapon sears garbage every winter and it starts on the first pull every time. Thats the extent of what Hondas are good for, IMO. Don't care how fast it is, how cool it looks, how much it resembled something a ******* Alien being might come visit earth in.. They're still piles of garbage to me. Sorry.

I played with one of those brand new Nissan GTRs with my honda the other day... In sixth gear (should have been in 3rd) I walked away from him. It may be one of the two-wheeled variety of hondas, but anyone who says they only build good lawn mowers is not considering a LOT of things...

Then your grasp of quality engineering is limited. Sorry to say.

As a previous honda enthusiast, I can relate, but nearly EVERY hooked up Honda was more DIY than I could ever do, and almost always ended up getting spanked by my h22. Turbo or not ;p

But, that's prolly just the area here. I have seen a few good lookin hondas, but for the most part hondas seem to be the highschool kid's intro, and although plenty of mature and knowledgable people work on and produce great honda setups, most are over shadowed by the rice

That's why Im assuming the other members are hating, and their traditional FWDness, but who cares in the end? Bench racing is for fahgs.
