I didn't read where the noob said he had a 2001?

I really only know about NA's and NC's (much less the latter). There's still room for improvement on that system. It's in a low pressure, heat soaked zone, not sealed off, there are lots of 90 degree turns for the airflow as well as walls in the filter area, not to mention the ribbed tubing. Still, it's much better than a 1990.
