@andym did you have the Probax in car at MATG? If so, I was dumb and went looking for some, forgetting who all posted in this thread. Did you use the Lotus slider? The KMiata one used the Lotus slider and the height was still way lower than Miata.

@psyber_0ptix Were you at MATG? If so, I'm sorry I did not meet you.

Hey, I sure did. Had I remembered I would have had you sit in my white Miata this weekend when we were hanging out. Psyberoptix did not make it to matg this year.

I used stock Miata sliders that have adapters to connect them to the lotus seat.

Yea, due to unpredictable travel schedule for work I had cancelled my lodging. So soon after parting Smurfette, I'm not sure how I'd have felt as a spectator. Maybe by next year I'll get over it :P

With that set-up: did you remove rear floor humps? How much lower do you now sit with your set-up than with your stock seats. I will do what works for me... No slider, Stock Slider, Aftermarket Slider that are outboard of the seats; but was just looking for what I might expect. We can fabricate as needed.

I have not removed the floor humps. I sit noticeably lower and I would easily pass the broomstick test. I’m a pretty tall guy at about 6 feet.

I plan on using the LE standard seat and have been worried how much head room I will gain when using stock sliders. Sounds like at least a few inches compared to foamectamy stock Seats?

My head used to hit the roll bar when I had my stock seats on stock sliders and my stock seats had an aggressive foamectomy. My head is pretty far away from the roll bar now and I have a headrest. If you like I can send a photo of what it looks like with me in the seat. For reference I am 6 feet tall.

I would love some pics if you've got them. If you could pose with something lacey and tight fitting that would be icing on the cake! Haha
