Default WASHINGTON Miata Turbo Folk

There are quite a few new members I see poping up in Washington West of the mountains. The point of this thread is to get some of us together and meet up for random events/drives or to get help from one another when needed, or grab some beers and talk miata. Just a thread to get all us local Washington folk connected. So if you are in Washington speak up!

I live in Shorewood (Between seattle and burien)

I'm in Redmond. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather so I can really wind out the car.

@Scaxx, I believe we met at the LeMons race...

Kirkland.

I would love to meet some local Miata people, whether it's a drive, cars & coffee event, day trip, tech day, autox.... Whatever.

425 motorsports in Bellevue has a small C & C event the first saturday of each month 10:30-12:30. Diverse but small crowd. And for anyone who hasn't been inside 425 motorsports it's worth the trip for that alone

+1 for 425 Motorsports! The owner Dan is super cool, and was super helpful in finding me a helmet and a bucket seat that fitted me. I'd love to meet up sometime but my car isn't running at the moment, hopefully that will be fixed this weekend

425 is a real cool shop its been years since I have been in there.

jpnMiata, You and i think most of us have our cars down for winter doing repairs and upgrades. Not that it matters since the roads are icy as **** this week.

If anyone needs a hand with their car this winter just give me a shout.

Yeah, I've only driven in the snow with my Miata once and I'm not likely to do it ever again. Here's pictures of my car after finishing my shift on Christmas Eve last year

I would really like to have someone with more experience look at a few things. I've done a lot to the car but I'm still not comfortable doing more complex jobs or troubleshooting important systems...

It's been great this winter but there is a BIT of deferred maintenance

My car is down for the winter as well while I put a cage in it as well as some other stuff. Meeting at 425 sometime would be fun, just went there last week for some seat shopping!

How is everyone coming on their projects this winter? Ready to get them back on the ground and driving?
