No I have an upgraded fuel pump, walbro 190lph hp, which probably helps keep fuel pressure steady better than the stocker could. I'm well under 80% IJDC at my power, rarely get to 72% or so on the street.
not sure what would be lost with a standard pump.

the stock pump can flow 300BHP at 50psi....so if you arent making more than that, a new pump isn't needed...unless it's crapping out.
here's a good resource for the lazy: http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/minj.htm

of course, that's assuming the stock pump holds 50psi at high map through red line. A fresh pump, probably no problem. From what I see, some--even most--do, but others don't. These things are getting pretty old now.
The stock pump in an NB can NOT hold 60psi (NB's run 60-63 static) in high map, high rpm situations.

ask POPSTOY :gay:
according to him it drops to like 40psi or something really low...he's convinced the only cure is a 255lph pump as he saw the same with a 190lph, but I'd take that with a grain of salt.

I'd say invest the $20 in a fuel pressure gauge, but really I'd just put that $20 towards the $80 a new pump costs. But since you run a MS, I also assume you have a full time wideband. So you'll know if you need a better pump or not.
People here tend to get pretty hung up on fuel pressure. I don't give a rat's A what the fuel pressure is, as long as my chambers get their fuel.
