Do you like the looks of both? Have you driven or at least ridden in either? To me (both stock) they feel pretty different, the entire car not just the handleing. You might love/hate one or the other. Personally I think that you should look for a Miata club in your area. I am not near you so I can't really suggest one, but with your sunny weather I am sure that there is at least one. A couple of comparison rides would be a big help. Also what you can/want to spend will helkp make the choice.
