I'll be tinkering with the oil plumbing this weekend, I hope it's just the heavy rotation of my CHRA.

I found with mine.... it was the rings. Compression was down on 3 and 4... and not the best on the rest of them. When I did the motor swap last spring, I found that there was a significant amount of stuff in the combustion chambers on 3 and 4 from burning all the oil... and even the backs of the exhaust valves were caked....

Might want to do a compression test/leak-down.... and just see where it's loosing it from.....

Mine clicks but will not start. Keep playing with the the key and it will start. Ive replaced ignition switch, starter, battery, cleaned and tightened all grounds and connections. Ive pretty much given up and live with it

Mine was the same way. Then I parked it, worked on it for two years and the problem has never resurfaced. ;)

Did you check the ignition switch as per the m.net stuff? I had mine, where the wiring was melted on both sides of the connector. Got a new harness/connector from a 626 (early 90's...) bolted right up... just had to splice the factory harness.... Been good ever since....

Have you checked if you have any fuel pressure when you first turn it on? Maybe it takes a few moments to get pressure in the lines.... Might want to try installing a pressure gauge, and do the diagnostic tests on the FP.... (jumper FP + grnd in the diagnostic connector), see what happens, if it builds pressure quickly, holds pressure, etc.....
