Quick questions. I see that each user has a "props" number.

1) what are they for?
2) how do you get them?
3) how do you give them?

 

Positive props are given to posts by other members when they like what you have posted. Negative props are given when you post things that people do not like.

Look at the bottom right hand corner and you will see a number with a + to the left and a - to the right. If you like what someone has posted, click on the +. If they say something offensive or stupid, click on the -.

I am going to give you a prop. It looks like you need it.

 

As you can see, someone gave you a negative prop. When I gave you a positive prop, it put it back to zero.

 

Thank you. That's good to know. I wish I had known this earlier, I would have given out a good number of props from the great info on here. I don't know what I did or said to get negative number of props, but life goes on. Thank you for the info.

I'm pretty mellow. I don't get my panties in a wad very often. I'm sure I've asked a few dumb *** questions here and there and will certainly in the near future as I'm pulling the MSM out of storage (winter here, got a foot of wet snow today) soon and will be installing a BEGI S4 with a 2560R and an Artech 3" dual exit exhaust. As well as installing my MS3 and RC550's. I'm not new to Miatas or other fun cars. Just looking to enjoy myself and have a quality Miata to play with.

Fact: if you make another thread trying to sell a POS MSM stock intercooler, that most give away free, for 70+ shipping and get defensive when people call you on it, you will get negative props.

I'm fairly certain that is where you accumulated the majority of your -10 props as I was laughing at that pathetic FS ad.

I don't really remember who called you on it, and it doesn't even matter now.

Just a "word to the wise" if you will.

I posted about finally being back to zero props, I was negative, and people negative prop'd that post for a luagh.

And then someone pointed it out and earned props himself for being a funny smartass.

Its just how it goes around here.

18- I ended up giving the MSM intercooler, a K&N filter, and a set of 305cc Supra injectors away locally to a kid with a 93 that he wanted to boost, so it all turned around. (pay it forward).

He chased me through town just to ask a few question about my MSM and I even let him drive it.. That hooked him into BOOST! I told him to look up this site and READ a lot before trying to add the turbo and running into issues. Hopefully he has opened this forum and looked around and became a member. I know I have learned a ton here and read this site everynight. (and at work....)
