What sensor is this and where does it go?

Putting my motor back into the car, and I don't remember where this thing goes. I can't seem to find it in the miata assembly drawing.

That looks like the coolant temp sensor for the dash. Originally found in the neck at the back of the head.

Put it in before you put the motor in the car. You can put it in after, but it sucks something terrible.
