Default What Size Gauge fits the Eye ball vents best

I tried to find someones build thread that had a gauge size listed with no real luck. but seen a lot of them mounted.

Simple question. What size fits best in the center Eye ball vents of a 90 NA miata? 52MM or 60 MM

Thanks ill have my build thread starting soon. hope to finish porting the head this weekend. Then should have all the parts i think here in a week or two.

Thanks
Mike

52mm fits perfectly if you keep the black surround installled iirc. That's the 2" right?

I had a 52mm Greddy boost gauge in my driver side vent at one point. That's using the black surround as Brain mentioned.

My pair of Polk tweeters are now taking up both the side vents and I use the center ones to actually keep some air flow.
