I am cleaning up my engine bay after deleting the charcoal canister. Can someone please tell me what this is used for and if it can be removed as well.

Thanks.

Igniter for your coils. You decide whether it should stay or not.

I will be running LS2 Truck coils which I believe have built in igniters. Do I still need this with the LS2 coils then?

Thanks.

No, you'll use the wiring for it for the ls2 coils though.

A lot of people melt out burnt out igniters and solder to the leads inside, then pour in resin as a filler. You then have a plug in play harness for your coils.
