Does 949 make 15x8 6UL's in a 38-40 mm offset range
Also doesn't it stretch the sidewall a little too much to put 205/50's on an 8 inch rim?

i have a set of racing rims(stock miata backspacing) and a set of lightweight 16" street rims.... on the front i run a 225/40 and on the backs i run a 255/35... had to do some slight mods to the wheel wells but it looks badddass i run kuhmo for a street tire, hooks up great except in first and second gear... soon as my turbo kicks in it will break the tires loose even just in a straight line kuhmo is a good tire for rather cheap... i picked mine up last year for $95 a piece off of tirerack.com... dont know what they are up to now

949 only offers the 15x8 in a +36. The +40 was only needed for stock cars while the +36 is for cars with a lower ride height than stock as well as more camber. All of that allows you to fit 225/45s without problems.
This is with the rear end jacked up on the other side of the car while I'm still doing the wheel swap. Plus it's all stock suspension so i have no excuses.
The first image you can see the difference of the Falken Azeni RT-615 205/50r15 on the 15x8 wheel versus the 17x7.5 Konig imagine wheel with 215/40r15. They're stretched a tiny bit, but the 205 is supposedly faster in autocross and at the time the 225/50 options available to me were either sold out in the US, R comp, or not well known to myself.
