Has to be a leak for sure. After i disconnected my nitrous from my car i forgot to plug the hole that i drilled for the nozzle...car was idling at 4,000rpm couldnt figure out for the life of mean i was so upset i laid my head on the car and as my head was that low i see my little hole ahha so i plugged it. Sooooo you need some glasses. Or just spray lots of brake cleaner on the intake manifold.

+1 on spraying around the flange for the intake manifold to bolt up to the head, I would use some carb cleaner or the similar, listen for idle changes.
