When my buddies start making fun of my chick car, I just whip out my crank... the thud when it hits the floor shuts them up.

When my buddies start making fun of my *** car, I just whip out a picture of my smokin' hot wife... it shuts them up.

When my buddies make fun of my slow car, I take them for a ride... it shuts them up.

When my buddies learn I've spent $6k total on a car that will own a Boxster/350z/WRX/3series/etc... they make fun of my chick car.

Here in TN, more men drive Miata's than women. I've seen two women drive miata's and about 15 men in the last 2 months.
Funny thing is, they're always very m.net moderator looking. Gray haired old bastards with sunglasses and a baseball cap. Only know of two young guys that drive miata's and one moved to Florida.

 

The demographic that I see driving Miatas around here are the typical wine and cheezer. Honestly I'd rather people think I was a ***.

 

It doesn't help my case any when I wear cowboy boots, jeans, and listen to something queer.

 

What's the problem? I thought you were a ***? You drive a girls car with out a turbo after all.

 

I get **** from my friends about it being a gay car, but they respect it and wont lead when we go on drives because they know I wont even have to try to stay on their ***...

 

**** that... I can't wait till i'm done with my car. The day I bought it some local guy talked **** .. I rocked him with my G35 a few months before that. He's got an M3 go figure... the day I brought it he starting laughing.. I said to him give me a couple months i'll end up doing worse than my G35 ever could.

If you get alot of gay comments usually lowering it or a nice set of wheels, roll bar or a hard top will help it look less "gay". I got laughed at when it looked stock alot, but now not so much. People will always make fun of the Miata, and those who do just don't understand it. I get razzed alot at the local car meet, but there are 20 DSM's and 50 WRX's, at least I have something different. I hate seeing all those same kind of cars there, they all look the same.

Go ahead and call it girly, but truth is 9 out of 10 times the girl would rather ride in the Miata than the other car.

well, besides the obvious reasons to use to defend the car, here's what i say to the bike thing. they may be able to beat the miata, but they wont beat my its gt76 powered, built motor supra. not to mention when i get sideways at anything under 100 i'll probably kill them also. kano wins.

 

Tell 'em you f*cked their girlfriend in your miata while they were still back in the carpark, then see if the can keep up in the twisties in their tough blokey SUV
