Default Need opinions...

Ok, so i used to have a 90 greddy miata, i was run off of I-64 by a semi and now the highest point of the car if the seat's headrest...still runs and drives fine...just not exactly street legal. I've been driving my '92 240SX (165,000 mile roughly) and now i've found a guy that wants to trade his yata for my 240 straight up.....

http://sr350.com/indexfiles/DewaltsTot.html

He's taking off/out the gauges...steering wheel, and rims and i'm taking the exhaust off and putting my brainstorm duals on...

Do you guys think i should do it or keep waiting for a better yata to come around?

You dont say what condition your 240 is in. With the price of clean 240's going up like crazy due to all the drifting dorks, you'd be a fool to trade a nice 240 for a beat-to-hell Miata. If your 240 is trashed, then it might be a better trade. The engine bay on that car looks clean, and you can transfer all the parts from your wrecked one, but that Miata with all the stuff removed is worth about $1500... maybe. I'd say you'd be better off parting your current car and buying a clean example.

You also said I64, but your profile isn't complete. Fill out your profile with where you live. There are lots of us in Virginia/DC who might be able to help you locate a new ride for cheap if you've got a hard-on for another Miata.

well, i used to live in VA beach, i now live in charlottesville, i actually wrecked from c'ville back to the beach. I dont really have the ability to sell my current car before i buy another one and dont really have the ability to get a loan either. I dont really wanna wait too much longer but i guess that's what im gonna do, i've kinda had a bad feeling about the blue one for a while so thanks for the reinforcing no. 240 is very clean considering what it is and how f-ed most of them are, bone stock with a set of wheels i threw on the other day.
