Default Will Intercooler Fit?

This is what I was told after asking for dimensions of an intercooler I was interested in: 24x10x2.75 core. endtanks extend add'l 3.5". outlet diameter is 2.75. I have PS and ABS and A/C. I know that makes a difference. Just wanting to know if this intercooler would fit or not. Thanks!

if it was 24 x (7, 8, or 9) x 2.75, then I'd say probably...

you need to measure from the bottom of the a/c dryer down...that will be your issue.

24" wide core and 10" tall? Well..

I don't have any accessories and my 22x9x3 core barely fit between the rails up near the top. IIWY I'd sacrifice a few inches from the height, you don't get airflow up there anyway.

I fit a 29x9x3 in there perfectly. The 10" height will require you to either relocate or remove the drier.

I know im putting in a 25x12x3 and it will fit. I have A/C as well. Granted, the top portion measures out to about 19.5 inches from what im told. Ill have to move my ac dryer about 2 inches to get it to fit but that wont be hard.

not to sure yet. I have to see how it sits. I might just get some strips of aluminum and drill two holes in them as my bracket. I have to wait till I get my I.C.

Ill let you know

Depending on your intercooler size... Thats not going to work too well.

I've got a 28x6x2.5 and the only way it'll fit is completely remove the drier from that location.

lol, what do you want to know? Overall size is 29x9x3. Sits perfectly under the a/c drier(which I didnt have to alter) and slightly higher than the bottom of the r-lip.

Why is that? Mine is 9" tall and I didnt have to do anything to the drier.

Duh, we want to know the rockwell of the end tanks, surface finish, mass, and total volume of the unit including the core.

Or how it fits, how hard it was to install, how you mounted it, what had to be modified to make it fit, how it works, etc.

Fits perfect, should be easy enough for everyone on this forum to install, pics show mounting, nothing had to be modified, dont know how it works yet (motor goes in on Sat).

Thanks Leb!!!!

Put on my coveralls, grabbed the 40d and set outside to show you my problem. Ended up laying under the car looking up at the drier, grabbed it and just pushed it. Laughed for a bit, removed the 2 10mm bolts and pushed it all the way UP, and all the way to the passenger side. Placed the intercooler on the jack and up she went.

Why I didn't just bend the ****** out of the way before I know not. Just have to make a simple aluminum bracket to mount it where its at now.

This weekend I'm going to start making my elaborate steel bracket to secure the intercooler. Big step for me!! Now I don't have to PAY to have the thing relocated under the hood! Also going to remove those stupid fog lights (that worked for one week then died..) and will start to piece together a power steering cooler or maybe see if that loop crap will still fit with the intercooler in place.
