I know they are not exactly the same but didn’t know if the 2003 could be trimmed to fit I see the bumper goes a little higher on the car. But it seems the answer is no. I was also thinking of buying his motor it’s a turbo will I need to change anything on my front fascia for the intercooler to fit or will it mount pretty easy.

Expect to make some adjustments, but it should be doable.

Anything can be "trimmed to fit."

But in general, the body panels are quite different between the NA and NB in terms of contour, seam lines, etc. The only part which I'm aware of that directly interchanges is the top.

Depending on how his intercooler is mounted, you might have to make some mods or you might not. There is no one universal answer, as there is no single standard for how to mount an intercooler.

There are some differences beneath the skin, however they're not as radical as the skin itself. I'm sure that an intercooler originally mounted on an NB can be re-fitted to an NA with relatively little fuss, at least, as compared to trying to transplant a body panel.
