LOL yeah, easy to do out of a 1.6. Don't forget though, this is the guy made 200+whp on a 5psi greddy 1.6 because he used and AEM standalone instead of our lowely megasquirts.

lol i love the debate about 1.6 over 1.8. I currently have a built 1.6 with cams and a 2871r. I make 335rwhp on 20psi and 250rwhp on 14psi on pump 98 octane which i think is 93 over there ? My plan is to switch to e85 soon and go for 370rwhp and leave it at that.

Atm i hit full boost at about 4k rpm and thats with the bigger .86 rear housing. At first i was worried id drop off boost and it would be shit to drive but at the track i dont have any issues at all. So it just depends on what u need to work with your car.

In saying that though, if i were to do it all again i would have gotten a 1.8. Its just easier and more reliable and takes less effort.

Lol, after this thread i bought forged goodies, then i bought JayL's built motor and subsequently sold the forged goodies. Following that i decided to sell the built motor since I didn't have a usable head. And now i bought forged goodies again. Funny how things come full circle (once or twice...)
