bringin this back up from the dead, What about the NACA duct? is it just for getting cold air for the intake??

NACA ducts are great for adding cool air to the engine bay... If you tossed one on the drivers side headlight cover it will give you cooler intake temps and help cool everything around your turbo at the same time.

but m2cupcar says the air in that area is 1 inch above the headlight lid, so how does the NACA duct work if there is no air??

If you listened to everything m2cupcar said, you'd end up with a bigger motor and all the money stolen from your paypal account. :gay:

also all of m2cupcars aero statements assume a certain speed. if your concerned with autox speeds or open track racing speeds your needs and goals might change...

I have a pitched hood because it allows the under hood temps to drop faster when I leave the course and get back into the que... hes right that it isnt ideal for air flow at higher speeds but sub 40mph its not the same pressure gradient... and at a stop it works fantastic. but it makes your fresh air vents just more hot air lol... kinda sucks in that way.
