So I used to get wheel hop bad, couldent even launch the car. I finally got around to putting in the diff mounts from driftingjellyfish (that right?). I then proceeded to take it to a back road and dump the clutch at 7k rpm... and no wheel hop!!!! WOOO HOO. I did a few more, and I get very very slight wheel hop when the tire is totally dry, but it is MUCH improved. I cant wait to drag it!
Defentally worth the $40, and its not any louder (diff wine or anyhting) than before.
BTW it took me and my friend under a hour and half to do the whole thing with a lift

Which mounts are they? I've been curious what the results would be from near-solid diff mounts and not-as-solid engine mounts, it sounds like this might be what you have.

http://www.driftingjellyfish.com/ diff mounts
havent touched my stock motor mounts
I think any little wheel hop I have left is tire pressures and my crappy stock suspention.
just for an idea, before the solid mounts I could grab the diff and move it back and forth like a inch lol, now its in there SOLID.
