Insurance still doesn't make the destroyed PC Boards good. It's still a hassle.
BAH. |
I'm sending more boards to chris tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get this thing taken care of.

can't wait, looking forward to this

Guys, I've been trying to wade through info on both Miata.net and here about converting my '94 to a COP setup. I can not seem to find exactly what I need to accomplish this, and some of the information seems to contradict.
I thought I was going to need this board, but now I've read it isn't needed for the Link setup. I would be very grateful if someone could post/ I/M /PM, etc. The comprehensive information needed to accomplish an upgrade from the factory coil setup to a cop system. I am currently running a '94 model, Link EMS, FM II Turbo setup. If I do indeed need the board, by all means, count me in. Thanks for your help, Errol |
since you are using the link then yes you need this in order to operate the coils with the correct dwell time and prevent overheating them.

Looks nice chris! Those solder points look really good for how small they are.

what size box should I be looking for to mount this in? Looks very good can't wait.
|
Board is 1.15X 2.38X.75 maybe a little deeper as I haven't measured it with components so the Z depth is a guess based on board size.
|
When will these be available to order? I'm ready to go.

That is a really tight fit. 1.1495X2.3680 is what I have on the calipers. I was going to put up a button today to buy it but I haven't heard back from chris on the go ahead yet.
As soon as I hear back from him giving the go ahead I'll put it up and we'll get these out. <poke ;) |

I'm waiting for parts for 1.6L (5ms dwell OEM) and those will take a bit longer. How many 1.6L ones did we need? |
I need a 1.6.
I'd buy unassembled if that helps. |
Ok, I'm going to put up 2 buttons, we can get the 1.8L boards out almost immidiately. He's got 5 of those done. The 1.6L boards like he says he needs to order more parts for. So those might take a couple weeks to get to you.
I'll put the buttons up tomorrow on the website, and then send the info over to Chris so he knows how many of what he needs to order. |
do it now!
|
I need a 1.6 since I'm running a 1.6 ecu. thanks
|
lol, flippy your halirious. Button is up make sure you pick the right one 1.8L or 1.6L/Link. They come with the protective box so you don't have to worry about that. Here is the link http://www.boundaryengineering.com/pcba.php
