my friend has a mishimoto rad on his brand new civic si, professionally installed and giving to be the their rep. after 2 days of driving the rad exploded, the cap blew off and coolant went everywhere. not trying to throw people off but its something good to know.

Sorry to hear that. IMHO, I don't think a radiator can cause overpressure. A blown head gasket, yes.

Not stopping me from buying one. Just sent payment. That local shop probably screwed something up during their "professional installation."

Alright I must be like Ann Frank because I cant find a paypal address or a phone number.

edit: nevermind.

Will my stock fans fit with this rad? or should I just upgrade em now so I dont have to deal with them in the future if I want a fatter sway bar?

C/O page 3 of this thread, post #45 for payment instructions. Excellent question regarding the stock fan fitment. Since 'assuming' that the rediator is for the NA's, one could easily 'assume' that it is set up for the fan mountings, but then . . . a direct answer will solve the question, eh?

I just called the 800 number posted by nester to make payments via credit card but the number doesn't work. Nester can you please let me know if this is the correct number? I want to make the payment by credit card.

I'm sure they will bolt up, but the question is about clearance with the stock sway bar or an aftermarket one.

Well, finally managed to get away from work for a few minutes this afternoon to place my order today. Tough when you work the same hours as the business you want to order from, even more interesting when you are in a different time zone but at least now have one on order that I know will come sooner than later, if at all.

All pending NA rads are scheduled to deliver to me on Monday, 8/18/2008. They will be shipped back out to all paid customers on the same day.

I will have tracking numbers available for all, and all will rejoice.

If anyone else wants to go ahead and pay up, I can get yours out same day too. THANKS!
