Default Hydra Nemesis Datalog File Analysis Tools

(Disclaimer: This is not a double post; in the other post ('Hydra Nemesis Map File Export and Analysis Tools') I'm looking specifically for tools to read, compare, and graph the MAP files. Here I'm looking for tools to work with the LOG files. But if there's one tool that can do both, well... sweet!)

A Google search for "ECU Datalog Analysis" shows that there are dozens of products out there, but many only work for a few ECU brands. I'm not looking for standalone datalogging units for track times, etc.; just something that works with the Hydra Nemesis for analyzing engine performance.

I've poked around the forums and see two that appear to be compatible:

EFI Analytics MegaLogViewer

Data Log Lab

What others are out there?

Do they do live datalogging, or do you have to use Hydra's built-in datalogger, then export the data as a CSV file for after-the-fact analysis?

What other things do I need to consider before plunking down money on a datalogger?

AEMlog can import and present csv or other text data formats.

I just use excel with filters and freeze the top row. You can also apply styles. An example: highlight cells in red with knock value over X.
