Got a friend who bought a lemon. 2 out of 4 of the O2 sensors went bad just after she bought the car, anyone know anything about them? Doing a quick google search Im finding results saying 95-05 all use the same 02. She was quoted something like $67 each. Trying to find them as cheap as possible, as she doesnt get alot of hours at her job and has a kid to support.

Yeah, I dont know all the details, but its pretty clear the Dealer she got it from is a low-life. Good thing this car has 5 different engines for that year and she doesnt know ---- about cars.

Anyone have any experience with these? She said she had it checked out and it has 4 O2 sensors, does that sound right? Are any of them more prone to going bad then others?

 

IMHO any dodge around that year, or any other year for that matter, especially the cars is a big stinking turd. Your friend should sell and try to get her $ back out of it.

 

What engine? The V6s were Mitsus. I'm putting an Eclipse 3.0 in my wife's '00 Sebring convertible that came with the 2.5 Mitsu V6. Hell if it's the 3.0, 2 weeks ago I would have had every accessory and sensor from it in my garage but I dumped all the extra stuff when I swapped over all the 2.5 stuff.

I think there was a sensor in each header and then one pre and post cat. The 2.5 only had an O2 pre and post cat, and not in each header. The car is a non-cali car which might make a difference.
