Who will be the first car manufacturer to have bird proof windshields as standard equipment?

bird proof at 160mph would probably mean that that would be your brains all over the car if your head hit the windshield in a crash

save a lot of medical bills. plus you're supposed to use a safety belt.

Bulletproof is just a lot of extra weight. When I worked designing subway cars, the driver's glass had to be "impact resistant". That meant somthing like 1" of plexi inbetween 2 sheets of windshield glass.

LOL, Check out the schmutz on the driver's seat in the second pic (lower cushion). Note the color and appearance relative to the meat spray on the seat backs.

That's just F-ing great. Next time I do a track day and hit 125 on the back stretch, I'll have that picture in my head. Thanks!

Guy's just really lucky it hit the center of the windshield. Otherwise this would have been posted on one of those bizarre death picture sites. Having a pidgeon sticking 1/2 out the back of your skull can't be pretty.

That must've been a pretty hefty bird pre-shredding to go through like that.

"Honey, don't drive so fast."
"Why the hell not?! Road is clear, no traffic, good weather. What do you expect me to hit?"
