here's an intelligent comment from that site:
"stupid belgians probably put waffles in the disc slot amirite"

I didnt write it, just sharing what i got.

i bought the 60 gig for 499 and a week later the 80 gigs dropped to 499.......but oh well. but no the extra 20 gig is not worth the money. plus PS are working on building new 100 gig add-on hard drive for a little over 100 bucks. so i would wait for that to be produced cause that will def be worth it.

Did Hustler hijack your login?

Part for part it's cheaper? Is that why it was $700 on initial roll out as opposed to the $400 for the 360?

That's some weird economics.

Dear Mike,

Thank you for your fanboy comments, but they really solve nothing in this post. Please have your tubes tied so you cannot reproduce and continue to plague our society.

Storage space is a premium on PS3.. Each demo is approximately 1-2 GB. Save data for some of the games is about 1-2 GB. I have a 60GB system, and I frequently delete demo's and HD video trailers and I'm about 50% full. Keep in mind I have 2 saved oblivion games which is approximately 2ish GB each. Having a pretty big library of games I would say half of my storage is saved games. I will be looking in the future to expand my storage in some way.

Oblivion saves are nasty sized...off the top of my head I wanna say 2gb.. this post from PS3forums says 4:

"No, the saved games and the game cache are separate. The cache is in Game Data Utility and is about 4.5 GB in size. The saved games are in Game Data Utility and are about 2 to 4 MB. Note that there is a smaller file related to oblivion in your Game Data Utility, this is most likely your game settings."

BTW for everyone's info who has a PS3.. I HIGHLY recommend ratchet and clank.. so much fun.

Then you should've said that from the start.

BTW: All XBox 360 controllers are wireless. Even the steering wheel.

I said comparable. Fine, my n64 is better cause its $30 c'mon man.

with wirless and rechargable batteries = $$.

Lbs per lbs ps3 is better. And give it time it will kick the xbox butt. The only toss up is hd-dvd, but with $100 players I will buy an hddvd player when blu ray fails and it will fail.
