I was wondering the same thing. Unless that thing has SOLID engine mounts, it's going to move a little...and eventually fail or put undue stress on the manifold. Is that in a 240? Fail.

Im pretty sure that the manifold isnt a solid piece, and has not enough support unlike your average bottom mount, THUS the brace. Not only that, that turbo looks pretty frickin heavy if its that big on a 2j
