The specs were a little lighter (1gig flash, 64 MB RAM, ARM-9 CPU), but it still had all of the normal stuff that a computer has (10/100 ethernet, USB and RS-232 ports, SD card interface, etc), and depending on the application we ran either WinCE or Linux on them.

Pretty nifty. I wish I still had one somewhere.

I was reading commenters online earlier today at work... I can't believe some of the things i was reading.

"i can't wait to see what kind of MPGs it gets"
"what's up with those big holes in it, totally impractical and ugly"
"why a v6, v8 is what they always used and is better"
"if they just used a v8 they wouldn't need those big armpits to cool it"
I'm paraphrasing of course.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally love the looks of function. That vehicle looks as good as i'm sure it will preform. You can tell some thought was put into it, unlike, say the challenger...

I also saw one of these on the drive in this morning. Talk about ugly.
The lighting they have on it is extremely tacky.

Almost nissan juke, and pontiac aztek levels of ugly.

Things and Kübelwagens are very cool. The father of one of my childhood friends had two Kubelwagens. They have teak flooring with a drain hole right there.
